 With the success of creating her award nominated one woman show "The Diary of an Afro Goddess," Cherie was inspired to dip her hands into film-making. "Afro Goddess Productions" aims to produce a diverse amount of content in Black-American story telling.  It will upheld the same mission Cherie intended while creating "The Diary of an Afro Goddess," which is for people to be the change in the world they want to see.

RAZOR PAINS (Short Film)

Afro Goddess Production's first film "Razor Pains" was produced in association with "The Script Club". "Razor Pains," is a comedic short film about a woman who makes one small decision that has a huge effect on her everyday life. The film was recently selected to be screened at "NY Short Film Tuesdays" in Brooklyn, NY where the audience thoroughly enjoyed it. The full movie "Razor Pains," can be seen below.

#UndercoverSidechick

"#UndercoverSidechick" is the story about Electra, a writer who decides to go undercover as a sidechick in order to expose a cheating man to his girlfriend, but she ends up having conflicting emotions about it in the end. This short film was originally shot as a "proof of concept" for a web-series. The proof of concept covers the initial setup and the downfall in the end. Written by Cherie Danielle and Directed by Bianca LaVerne Jones

Virtual Bae

"Virtual Bae" is a quarantine inspired short-film. It covers a women's hopes, dreams, and disappointments in virtual dating. This is a one-minute short-film created for Tracy Twinkie Byrd's #quarantineshortfilmchallege. It was written on a Saturday night, filmed on Sunday then edited on Monday and Tuesday. This project was written, directed, shot, edited, and starred Cherie Danielle. Enjoy!
